PROPERTY SOLICITOR JOB UPDATE

This area has seen considerable downsizing across both commercial property and residential conveyancing.  With many large scale development projects put on hold and with the housing market being pretty flat there haven’t been many property opportunities over the last 18 months.
However, the property market is seeing positive signs and the last 6 months has seen activity sustained. There is more general transactional work and some mid-size firms are interested in experienced property solicitors with good contacts and proven business  development skills. As we enter the third quarter of 2010 we are also seeing some roles at newly qualified level for Planning and Property Solicitors, but there is fierce competition.
Main positions include: Planning Solicitors, Property Finance Solicitors, Residential Development Solicitors, Commercial Property Solicitors and Residential Conveyancing Solicitors.
